Founded in 2013, AEP is an innovation-based R&D company specialized in the development of bio-based building blocks and polymers for industrial applications ranging from polyurethane foams and CASE (coating, adhesives, sealant and elastomers) to fibre-reinforced composites and thermoplastics.
Our Expertise
Leveraging its expertise in organic chemistry and polymer science, AEP specializes in the valorisation of bio-based sources, replacing fossil resources with bio-based precursors such as Cashew Nutshell Liquid (CNSL), plant derived oils and lignin, for the development of new polymers or formulations, dealing with the intrinsic variability of bio-based sources to ensure reproducible properties of the new polymers within a narrow specifications’ range.
